But that's still in the future, and right now I'm firmly focused on Slater's Claim. I'm about 20k in, and really hoping to finish the first draft this month. I'm estimating it'll be around 60k, just because that's how long WOLF'S HUNT was, but I do have a tendency for making each subsequent book in a series longer than the last... We'll see. In any case, that leaves me around 40k to write in 25 days.
Eek.
It's not impossible. Right?
I have done it before, but admittedly that book turned out to be shite and I scrapped it completely, so...We'll see! At the moment I'm just having fun with the story. Slater's Claim sets in motion some crucial events for the rest of the series and I just...I just love my biker boys, okay?
The LAWLESS anthology from Evernight is scheduled for a November release, so I'm anticipating info about edits and final release dates in the coming weeks. I can't wait for this one! VANDAL was a great story to write, and I'm excited to see what the other authors have come up with. So it looks like the Autumn is going to be all about bikers for me, and that's absolutely perfect.
